Since the whole world is sharing amazing photos of the Solar Eclipse, I thought I’d switch it up and share some shitty photos. I was totally unprepared, using a hand-held filter over my camera lens that was designed to be used with phone cameras. This also made it difficult to manually focus.

The best is the first and a complete accident. The filter slipped out of my hand and burned a tiny negative image of the Sun in my vision for two days. Also, if you look real closely at that same photo, you can actually hear me yelling to George, “FFS, I think I just burned my eye!”

Yes, I’m a dumb ass but I’ll be better prepared next time.
