This morning, just as the sun started to shine through the trees, I saw him. I’ve seen him for a few weeks now but never this close. He was standing in perfect posture, in his perfect world and in perfect confidence that I wasn’t a threat. As I tiptoed closer through the frozen leaves, we kept constant eye contact until I put my camera between us. I’m amazed at how many beautiful, magnificent creatures there are on this planet. Today, I felt as though I was in his world for a moment, not mine and I consider that a gift.
