Daisy Chains Album

So, a few months ago, I received an email from the promotional manager of a Milan-based indie band named Daisy Chains. She asked if it would be ok if they used one of my stock images for the cover of the bands new album titled “Donors”. Of course was thrilled and gladly agreed to the offer. I still can’t believe how sweet it was of her to actually take the time to send me an email about using my picture. She purchased it through my Nanamee profile, which is a collection of my stock images and usually means that she didn’t have to contact me at all. So, today I rushed around (like I don’t have a gazillion other things to do) taking pictures with my new Pentax to see how they would come out. I love them and I’m very happy that I bought this camera.

Ok, I’ll be honest. On the way out of the parking lot where I had my film developed, I ran over the curb.
It was awesome.

So, I’ve been looking for the perfect film camera for the past year or so. I did a bunch of research and completely fell in love with all of the images I found taken by the Pentax K1000. They’re clean yet dreamy and sharp all at the same time. I just got mine in the mail today. Hopefully, I’ll have some pictures up soon.
